Traditionally, initiation is accompanied by a spiritual name. If you feel inspired, you may choose one for yourself. Just follow these steps:

Step 1 — Choose a Name

Select a sacred name that resonates with you. You may choose:

Examples:

Note: If you are unsure of a new name, simply use your legal first name — even if it isn’t a Hindu name. In the next steps, you can add the suggested prefix and suffix to make it a spiritual name.

Step 2 — (Optional) Add a Word

You may optionally add one of these:

Examples:

Step 3 — Choose a Title

Pick one of these titles:

Examples:

Note: These titles are not ranks or hierarchies. They are a declaration to society that you see yourself as a spiritual being, whose values may not always align with the ordinary world.

Step 4 — Add “Om”

Place Om at the end to accept the Divine as your spiritual parent.

Step 5 — Write Your Spiritual Name

Step 6 — My Prayers

Until you choose to reach out, I may never know you exist. And naturally, I cannot pray for someone whose presence I do not know of.

So, if my prayers matter to you, please leave a comment on the Sri Guru Mantra video. I will respond with a ❤️ and keep you in my prayers.

Please use this format in your comment:

Note: To reduce spam and misuse, comments are limited to subscribers who have been subscribed for at least one day. All comments on the video are held for moderation, so there may be a delay before yours appears.

Just a Signal

If you later delete your comment from the video, I will simply take it as a sign that you have moved on — which you are always free to do.

This is only a way for me to know who still remains within my spiritual orbit.

If this offering helps even one seeker, I consider my mission fulfilled.

Om Tat Sat 🙏🏼

Love,
Suvrata Nirupa Sri
